Governor Mark Dayton, yesterday, announced his plan for $986 million in new construction projects for the legislature to consider when it reconvenes next month. The proposal includes nearly $14 million for renovations to the Bemidji State University campus, and more than $13 million for Red Lake schools. But a search of the state's website shows that it does not include the City of Bemidji's request for $800,000 to move and upgrade the Bemidji Carnegie Library building.

The governor's plan is only preliminary, as the state House and Senate will each have their own proposals.
