The superintendent of the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley School District has resigned. Dr. Mary Donohue Stetz accepted a contract buyout of $155,00 earlier this week according to the Walker Pilot-Independent.
Stetz was being investigated based on complaints and had been placed on paid administrative leave in May. The nature of the complaints have not been revealed, and the school district says now that both parties have agreed to the buyout deal, no further information about her resignation will be released.
Stetz was hired by the school district in 2011 under a three-year contract.
