After a 12 hour long search on Friday, a man who fled from Sheriff's deputies on an ATV in Wilton was taken in to custody. According to Beltrami County Sheriff's Office emergency management director Beryl Wernberg, 28-year-old James Adam Schummer, was wanted for parole violations and for fleeing from police.

Numerous officers on foot and in squad cars searched the Wilton area, and a State Patrol helicopter assisted from the air.

Details of the nature of the parole violations were not available, but Schummer has a history of burglary, drugs, and weapons convictions.
