Humane Society Donations Needed
The Beltrami Humane Society needs your donations to help care for the animals that come to the shelter. They are in need of cleaning supplies, food, office supplies, monetary donations - and volunteers. Beltrami History Center
The Beltrami County Historical Society, located in the former Great Northern Depot Building, offers visitors a chance to step back in time with a historical collection that now numbers more than 105-thousand pieces including American Indian and settlement artifacts, textiles, old maps, photographs, newspapers, and manuscripts. In addition to the exhibits, the center's staff offers research services and photo reprints. The center also has a gift shop. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and senior citizens, and $1 for children 12 and younger. The Historical society is also involved in a number of fundraising events throughout the year and is always looking for new members and new perspectives.
